
This year I took the dive from plastic to wood-framed snowshoes. My first try was a pair of 10x59 pickerels, supposed to be 60 years old from the Mohawk reserve in Quebec. Looking them over, I found a broken strand in the master cord and wasn't sure how to fix it, so I ordered a 10x56 kit from Snowshoe.com, and strung them with flat nylon web.
