This is a thread to post about back country skiing experiences in the '24/'25 season. If the posts include skiing with camping, so much the better.
I'll get the ball rolling with notes from my first BCX day trip. We had a couple days of good snow down to 4000', so a trip to my favorite local trail was in order. It's a narrow sidehill hovering around 5000' with a lot of tight turns and some boulders to work around. The main trail winds around to a landmark monolith about five miles out.
